Eleni Taluzek

Biography

Mezzo-Soprano, Eleni Taluzek, is a lyric mezzo from Chicago, IL. Eleni has recently sung the roles of Calypso in Our American Odyssey by Marjorie Rusche, Mother in The Gift by Paul Herman, Flora in La Traviata and Lola in Cavalleria Rusticana. Her previous engagements include La Zia Principessa in Suor Angelica, Hänsel in Hänsel und Gretel, Der Komponist in Ariadne auf Naxos, Dorabella in Così fan tutte, and Number 3 in Transformations by Conrad Susa. She completed her her Master of Music degree in Voice and Artist Diploma degree in Opera the College-Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati. In recent years, she also has been completing a Doctor of Music in voice from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. Her greatest desire is to share her joy and love of music with others through performance and education.
