Recent Alumni to Prestigious Graduate Schools

Two recent music major alumni have committed to prestigious graduate programs for the 2023-24 school year.

Michelle Tapp ('21) will begin a Master of Music degree in Collaborative Piano at the University of Michigan, where she will study with Martin Katz, one of the most sought-after pedagogues in the piano world. Michelle is currently completing a Master of Music in Piano at Roosevelt University, studying with Winston Choi. 

Kate Ragan ('21) will begin a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Composition at the Eastman School of Music, one of the premiere music schools in the country, and particularly noted for its theory and composition faculty. Kate is currently completing an MM in Composition at Eastman, where she studies with Carlos Sanchez-Gutierrez, Ricardo Zohn-Muldoon, and Bob Morris (composition) and Elinor Free (piano).
