Schlosberg Albums Release

In August, Professor Schlosberg released 40@40, a collection of New American art song with soprano Laura Strickling on the Bright Shiny Things label. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts for Traditional Classical Albums and has already garnered a highly favorable review on Sequenza 21. The collection features 20 brand new commissioned songs from a wide selection of contemporary composers, including Juhi Bansal, H. Leslie Adams, Lori Laitman and Tom Cipullo.

And on October 27th, Schlosberg will release Mere Mortals, a collection of works for violin and piano with violinist Caitlin Edwards on Navona Records. The album includes sonatas by Irene Britton Smith, Jonathan Bailey Howard, David Baker, Ethel Smyth, as well as title track, composed by Ahmed Alabaca.
