Another Banner Year for ND Music Majors Attending Summer Music Festivals

Several current music majors, in performance and composition, were admitted to competitive festivals that take place during the Summer of 2018. In addition to many performing opportunities, these students

will also study with renowned faculty from other universities and conservatories, and collaborate with other advanced performers from around the world.

Travon DeLeon '20, major in Violin Performance (honors track) and minor in Business Economics, will attend the Northwestern Summer Violin Institute in Chicago, Illinois.

Alex Mansour '19, major in Cello Performance and Film, Television, and Theatre, will attend the Bowdoin Festival in Brunswick, Maine in the composition program.

Aileen Markovitz '19, major in Vocal Performance and Economics with minors in AL/SC Honors Program and Constitutional Studies, will attend voice programs at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey.

Kate Ragan '21, major in Piano Performance and Political Science, will attend the Brevard Music Center in Brevard, North Carolina.

Audrey Steiner '20, major in Piano Performance and Design, will attend the Adamant Music Festival in Adamant, Vermont.

Zhengyi Zhang '18, major in Piano Performance, will attend the Aspen Music Festival in Aspen, Colorado.
