Kiera Duffy, soprano

Location: Leighton Concert Hall (View on map )

Recognized for both her gleaming high soprano and insightful musicianship, Kiera Duffy commands attention in repertoire that encompasses Handel, Bach, and Mozart to the modern sounds of Berg, Glass, and Zorn. Duffy earned the highest critical

praise for the world premiere of Missy Mazzoli and Royce Vavrek’s Breaking the Waves as Bess McNeill at Opera Philadelphia. In a program evoking travel and journey to celebrate the University of Notre Dame’s 175th anniversary, Duffy collaborates with pianist J.J. Penna and Solera Quartet, the University’s Quartet-in-Residence, for an exclusive selection.
