praise for the world premiere of Missy Mazzoli and Royce Vavrek’s Breaking the Waves as Bess McNeill at Opera Philadelphia. In a program evoking travel and journey to celebrate the University of Notre Dame’s 175th anniversary, Duffy collaborates with pianist J.J. Penna and Solera Quartet, the University’s Quartet-in-Residence, for an exclusive selection.
