Biography
Ken Dye is a professional composer/arranger of music for bands and orchestras. Professor Dye's continuing writing assignments with Bowl Games, the Tournament of Roses, and large-scale public events are broadcast internationally. He continues to produce materials for music education for schools and universities worldwide.
Recognized musical works include the entire repertoire of the 2000 Sydney Olympic Band, 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Band, and pops arranging for the Dallas Symphony and Boston Pops. His body of music has surpassed 2,000 pieces for all ensembles.
Prior professional positions include producer/director of the 1986 Olympic Festival, founding director of the "Banda de Marcha del Estado de Mexico, and director of the Disney All-American College Band.
