A graduate of Indiana University South Bend and Ball State University, William (Terry) Engeman has an extensive background in both music education and percussion performance. Percussion Instructor and Director of the University of Notre Dame Percussion Ensembles, he has taught percussion at all levels. A protégé of Bobby Christian (Chicago, Illinois), he has served as Principal Percussionist for the South Bend Symphony Orchestra, the South Bend Symphony Pops Orchestra, and as a member of the percussion sections of the Fort Wayne, Elkhart and LaPorte Symphonies. Retired after over 30 years as a music educator for the South Bend Community School Corporation, he is a regular performer in area musicals, ice shows and churches.
